Think of it. Hot wax poured…down there. And then ripped off…along with every single hair nature intended.
You may have heard that New Jersey is considering banning the practice after 2 women reportedly were injured.
I think it is safe to say that anyone who gets a Bwax ever has been injured. Do you know what it is like to have hundreds of hairs all pulled out- ripped out to be exact- at the same time? It is not pleasant, to say the least.
What would posses a person to ever desire such a thing? Sure, I am as much a fan of keeping it close as the next woman, but I refuse to go out and pay money for someone to torture me. There are plenty of other methods to help in achieving the goal of being as smooth as a babies bottom without exposing every inch of your vagina to a complete stranger, and please, let it be a complete stranger- do you really want to be chummy with someone who enjoys torturing women for a living?
Not to mention the hair is there for a reason. Just like lashes help keep things out of your eyes, pubic hair helps you keep things out of your vagina that you certainly don’t want in your vagina. Unwanted hairs aside, the skin that covers genetalia is not like the skin on the bottom of your foot, it’s sensitive. What if you burn it with wax that is too hot? What if you – the goddesses forbid- rip skin off too? It happens.
YES, it happens.
Think about THAT the next time one of your crazy girlfriends tries to convince you to get one.
