Republicans are always looking to pad diversity on its public image. We all saw just how far they were willing to go in appointing Michael Steele as the Chair of the party.
The Republicans are holding their National Convention next week, and they’ve found another, albeit small way to show that they’re an all inclusive party with a diverse array of members.
Meet Lloyd Marcus- singer. Self described “proud Black conservative” who believes- among other things- that the president is a socialist.
You might be tempted to discount Lloyd as “a crazy”- but you should probably know he’s an internet sensation too. One of his songs, “Twenty Ten” is a hit on Youtube, with well over a million hits and he’s a hot commodity on the Tea Party circuit. Have a listen:
