Brian Keith Brown pleads not guilty

A 28-year-old Renton man accused of fatally punching a South Seattle man in an argument at a traffic circle on July 9 pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder today.

Brian Keith Brown, who said little during the five minute hearing, is slated to be tried in connection to the murder of James Paroline, 60, later this year.

A judge this morning forbid Brown from contacting his girlfriend and three other females — the three who got into the initial dispute with Paroline.

After the hearing, a group of Brown’s friends left the courtroom apparently angry with the judge’s order.

Katrina Tidwell, a friend who sat through the hearing, said it’s unfair that Brown can’t talk to his girlfriend.

“It’s wrong, he doesn’t deserve this at all,” Tidwell said. “He’s a good person. He’s really sweet.”

I’m sure we all can’t wait to see how sweet BKB was in the VIDEO taken which led to charges of 2nd degree murder.  Shyt.

Can someone please explain the “good person” thing? It’s not a concrete term, it means something different to each of us. But it does seem like if there is any area of consensus, however narrow, of people who are NOT eligible to be called “a good person,” it just has to include a man who jumps up and runs out at the mere suggestion, to batter a smaller, older man viciously enough to kill him.

For absolutely no reason at all: no necessity, no heat of the moment, no argument that the victim deserved to die, too much violent history to pretend he didn’t know how hard he was hitting, no mitigation whatever. He just wanted to.

And what of the picadors, driving around with some extra time on their hands when they saw an old guy out in the open by himself, and made an excuse to stop and torment him? And when they’d had enough fun, and elicited some small response to satisfy themselves they’d gotten to him, went and fetched somebody they knew who liked to hurt people, and had the old man killed for their amusement. Are they “good people,” too?

    And “sweet”? — I’m speechless.

It may be time to call in the language police.

Within the past 10 years this “good person,” this “real sweet” individual, has served substantial time in jail. His convictions include third-degree assault, malicious mischief, obstructing law enforcement, theft and drug possession. And those are just his convictions. Now Mr. Brown finds himself charged with the senseless murder of a 60-year-old man watering flowers. Yes indeed; a “real sweeet” “good person,” a real charmer, a genuine asset to the community — Walla Walla, that is.

I think it’s really funny how you guys talk shit about Brian assaulting the old guy…but what about Paroline’s assault of the minor GIRLS that were there. The news is so fuckin biased. There are witnesses that seen the old man hit the girls after he sprayed them with water. He had traffic blocked off like he owned the fuckin street and then got confrontational when they moved the cones to the side. Don’t judge Brian because of his past. Yeah he has done wrong, but for the past fours years he’s been workin and tryin to be a family man. It’s sad that Paroline died, but Brian didn’t try to intentionally kill the old man, he hit him once. Take that into consideration while you self righteous bastards judge him. I don’t see anyone sayin anything when young blacks are wrongfully killed by the police or the KKK.

No matter what you foolish people say our Lord and Savior Jesus christ will free my brother Brian k. Brown. Only God knows a persons heart and there motives. I only the people who believe will understand this so to the suckas of the world quit tryin to destroy a young black man because if you can’t forgive the next person how do you expect God to forgive you.

2Pac said it best only God can judge me.

Oh okay, and this is why he PLED GUILTY YESTERDAY- because he didn’t do anything wrong. Cut the crap. He’s a convicted killer, end of story.

      That’s not a JUDGMENT THAT’S A FACT.

Plea bargain with the DA and “Brian Keith Brown” along with video tape evidence… only gets him 11 years?!!! Are you kidding me? A man pursuing his happiness and putting a few road cones up and a few people with no emotional control can do this? BKB killed an old man and he only gets 11 years!! I hope he is shanked in jail. Yes I said it.. I’m not being PC. He’ll be out in 11 years when he is 40 and won’t be able to get a job and will probably get forced back to his criminal ways. Obviously it is a system our society is putting in place to not give these people an out. But when it comes to murder there should be no exceptions.

I will remember this mans name because I will definitely protest his release. Brian Keith Brown watch out because I will do everything in my power to keep you in prison where you belong.
