A man suspected in a Federal Way double shooting has been charged with second-degree murder.
Currently at large, Edgar Daniel Sanchez is accused of killing 17-year-old Irving Omar Placencia and injuring Placencia’s brother in the early hours of Jan. 17 during a party at a Federal Way home.
Speaking with the surviving victim, Federal Way detectives were told he and his brother were preparing to leave the party in the 30800 block of 20th Avenue South when another group of men arrived. The men set upon him and his brother, the injured man said, when one of them drew a pistol and shot them.
